An Extension of Your Practice
Whether your practice is looking to outsource some craniofacial imaging or you have a need for more accurate imaging in certain cases, we would like to assist you. Since we are able to come directly to your office, think of us as an extension of your practice. Patients do not have to leave your office to have the scan taken, which will reduce anxiety and keep them in a more comfortable environment. In addition, practitioners and/or office staff may be present for the scan and are able evaluate the images to ensure they are acquiring all of the necessary information.
To meet your needs, we have experience working with the following software programs:
• SimPlant,
• Nobel Biocare Procera,
• coDiagnostix,
• Implant Logic, and
• i-CAT Vision
If you do not see your software on the list, we are more than happy to work with you to establish an effective scanning protocol.
We also offer the following services:
Panoramic Studies
These studies reveal more detailed and obscure anatomical elements than traditional radiological tools. Panoramic studies are used for many treatment evaluations including TMJ, sinus, root alignment, and jaw function.
Implant Studies
These studies are used to determine the proper placement of implants. They can assist with determining the most appropriate implant type and angulation, as well as bone density, depth measurements, and nerve location. They are helpful when trying to determine whether bone grafting or sinus lifts may be necessary in areas where the amount of available bone is questionable.
TMJ Studies
These studies are ideal for patients that are suffering from TMJ disorders or symptoms. They are also ideal for following up on previous TMJ treatments. Three dimensional views of the condyles and joint space are included.
Radiology Services
If you would like to have your CT Scans interpreted for incidental pathology and treatment planning purposes, we now work with the University of Florida Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology Service. Dr. James C. Pettigrew and Dr. Mahdu K. Nair are ABOMR board certified radiologists who specialize in reading Cone Beam CT scans for dental practitioners. This service is available for an additional fee. A written report can be returned to you within 24 - 48 hours.
